Matt Sha

Matt is a second-year science student at the University of British Columbia, where he studies Genetics and Medical Microbiology. He has a burning passion for sharing his love and knowledge of science, while also inspiring children and youth to explore their innate curiosities of what, how, and why things are.

He has been a camp instructor and science educator at several summer camps teaching science lessons and other exciting skills, including the Flavourful Science lessons found on this website. These lessons demonstrate the importance and relevance of science behind food and cooking, all while learning in a fun and enjoyable way!
